We were given some rushes to assemble into a complete scene. We were responsible for any music or sound effects.
A young man must choose to overcome his fears and speak out in an impossible situation.
My entry for this month's LoopdeLoop contest. I animated my drawings in After Effects. It is a nice little loop.
Another editing project from AACC. We had to address an issue or cause using found public domain footage. I saw so many hilariously sexist commercials from the 50s and 60s, so I decided to illustrate, in extreme, sexism is advertising and the media.
~Rachel This was an editing project I did when I was at Anne Arundel Community College. We were learning about match cuts and had to make a video consisting only of match cuts. The only footage we could use was found public domain footage.
I really love how this turned out. It's still one of my favorite projects I've made. I still think it's a lot of fun. ~Rachel This was one of my first projects I finished at Towson. It had very weird requirements, such as over- and underexposing the footage (don't ask me why, this professor didn't teach...) We had to make three edits of this projects (one collaborative edit with my partner, and then each of us had to do an individual edit). This is my edit of our footage. We shot in Hampden in Baltimore. My sister was our lovely actress.
~Rachel This project was just to practice how to "parent" on After Effects. Just a basic little practice video.
~Rachel We had to make an explainer video on anything we wanted. This is my video so far. There is still a lot of work I am going to do to it. I have to tighten some of the animations and show examples from Tim Burton's and Guillermo del Toro's films and a few other tweaks. I'm generally pretty happy with this project, though. I should have a new version up within the next week.
~Rachel This experimental piece was from my Video 1 class at Anne Arundel Community College in 2013. We were supposed to create an experimental film that conveys a certain mood/theme. I chose paranoia and "Watch" was born. These were individual projects where we created the visuals and the sounds ourselves. This is one of my favorite projects I've made. I hope you enjoy it!
